Brielle's Bachelorette Partay

Brielle had a Bachelorette party the other night and it was so fun :] I loved getting together with the girls, and just enjoying ourselves! We ate at the Brick Oven, and went to Nickel City. I basically dominated the Bead Game, and Hannah got a stuffed animal from a random Mexican kid won for her. lol Good times :] I can't believe that my bestie B is getting married! I'm so excited for her, and that she will be moving up to Orem soon! We can double date, and bond a little more cause I have been missing me some B time!
Congrats Brielle! Just 2.5 Weeks left!!

Little Presley Ann

THIS little angel made us wait a long time to finally meet her! And boy wasn't the wait worth it?!
Presley Ann Stowell
 [10-16-11] 9 lbs. 7 oz. and 21 inches long!
We love her so, so, SO much! Isn't she BeAuTiFuL?! Such a pretty baby! She's a little chunker, I could kiss those chubby cheeks all.day.long! Mckel did so good throughout the whole process, she is such a strong lady! Both her and Mike are proud little peacocks! I wish I could have been there to see Avia and Madix see her for the first time! Avia was just glowing, and Madix was so funny about it! He asked Mckel if she had "pee-pee" hahahaha and he asked "Now will my brother come Friday?" lol How funny!
Congrats to the Stowell Family! We are so in love with this little lady! GREAT addition to the Family:]

Dirt Road Prayer

My absolute new favorite song?
Dirt Road Prayer by Lauren Alaina
SO SO SO GOOD!
You know those songs you hear that relate to you perfectly? And they basically speak your life? This is one of those. This song makes me Miss Richfield So Bad!!! I really miss that place...I can't wait til I can move away from the city and go back to dirt roads, and small towns! Look this song up, it's worth it!

Let the light shine
On my mama
She's been worried about me
And I can tell she's tired

Walk my brother
In a straight line
I know he's only sixteen
But he's been playing with fire

Give my grandpa
A little peace and quiet
I can feel the years of hard work
In his hands

Make my days pass
Just a little bit slower
I've been running so fast
I forgotten who I am

[Bridge}
So, I go where the green grass grows
Weeds are high and the sun hangs low
Look to the sky and I say 'hello'
Like it's the very first time

{Chorus}
It doesn't matter how long it's been
I can talk to God like he's my best friend
Take my heart and lay it down again, right there
In a dirt road prayer
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsty.com/laura-alaina-dirt-road-prayer-lyrics.html ]
He's a good guy
Looks Dad in the eye
And I wonder if you made him just for me
But before I fall
Give me patience
Until you show me where to take this

Yeah, I go where the green grass grows
Weeds are high and the sun hangs low
Look to the sky and I say 'hello'
Like it's the very first time

It doesn't matter how long it's been
I can talk to God like he's my best friend
Take my heart and lay it down again, right there
In a dirt road prayer

It's good to know
I can always go where the green grass grows
Weeds are high and the sun hangs low
Look to the sky and I say 'hello'
Like it's the very first time

It doesn't matter how long it's been
I can talk to God like he's my best friend
Take my heart and lay it down again, right there
In a dirt road prayer

Cheeseball Fight

Sometimes, more times than not, I have ideas that seem like a good idea at the time...BUT....turn out to be not so good. Lol Take our Cheeseball Fight for instance! Jordan and I were watching TV last night, and he went outside to get Honey some food. Literally seconds later, I get this grand idea to hide behind the couch and when he walks in the door, ATTACK!!! lol and that's exactly what I did:] However, it didn't turn out how I pictured. I started throwing the cheeseballs at my Hubby and he just sat there and had this little smile/smirk on his face like wow, I have the weirdest wife in the world! So after a while of him just sitting there and taking it, it became not so fun, so I took the whole tub over and acted like I was gonna dump it on his head. After a few laughs, I told him he had to clean it up and what does he do? Dumped the tub on my head!! So I crushed some cheeseballs on top of his head and so on... :]
Lesson learned: Microfiber couches are a PAIN to clean!!!! lol
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted :] :]

Life Through Karol-Colored Glasses

Remember this? I completely forgot about it until today when I was looking through my old blog. Sometimes I used to write about my day, feelings, and thoughts, and I would title it "Life Through Karol-Colored Glasses." I think I need to start that up again, however, it feels like I really don't have a lot to say like when I was in that past time in my life. But I'll do my best, so here it goes!
  • My house is a mess! I think I'm just a really overly-clean freak type of a person, because it never seems like I can catch up! Something always needs to be cleaned. Jordan tells me our house isn't dirty, that it looks just fine, but I guess I don't think so. Lol I just think to myself, if this little "messy" house drives me nuts, imagine what a big dirty house with children is gonna be like! I think that's one thing I'm going to have to learn when I'm a mom..to relax a little.
  • I've gotten the bug. The "healthy" bug. I have started to work out, and this time I'm totally serious about it! Jordan made me a work out system last night (I'm so grateful I have a husband that knows what he is doing, cause I surely don't!) and I started it this morning. Monday and Friday are my hard days, and Wednesdays are my insane days! Sounds fun? Well, I am just excited for the results! I have let my body have a vacation for too long, so now it's back to real life which means..back to the drawing board.
  • I'm tired of being cooped up in this little apartment, I want out!! It just feels like I'm wasting my days and my time. I feel like a break down is on its way.
  • Sometimes I wish I had a job. I feel guilty that Jordan goes to school, works, and comes home to do homework, when I sit on my but basically all day. Sometimes I get frustrated with myself. Sometimes I wonder if Jordan gets frustrated with me. I guess it's just kind of a touchy subject with me...who knows what to do in life.
  • Yesterday, our stake had Stake Conference, and let me tell ya, it rocked my socks! Every single talk was so amazing, and I swear I cried in every one of them. The area of the seventy told a story about a boy named Danny who loved baseball and was handicapped, and he hit a homerun during this last baseball game. I looked all over the internet for the story, and couldn't find it! Shoot, it was SO worth sharing!

Little Honey Bee

"Oh darlin don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up, just stay this little."
Where she sleeps every night haha in between my pillow and the head board.
When she was really little :] lol she liks her belly scratched.
She's starting to get into things. I was making cookies and she took this empty milk jug and was biting on it, playing her little heart out, and I came in and milk was ALL OVER her face :] haha You can't see it in this picture though.
I came home from school today and she tore a hole in her bears face :[ So guess who played doctor? :]
This video makes me laugh SO hard! I got some posters from school one day, and she exploded with excitement! Honey wanted to rip it up as fast as possible. She was carrying it all around the house chewing and ripping, so I thought I would video it. lol The best is how she trips and gets all embarrassed! lol Then she shows her true colors. Acts all cute and sweet, then pounces! lol That's Honey for you!

Jordan took her to work with him yesterday. He came home really excited! He said that he took her to into a field by a house he was working at and she LoVeD it! She took off through the bushes, nose to the ground! After their bonding time, I picked all the burrs out of her feet :] lol

BYU Football

RISE AND SHOUT, THE COUGARS ARE OUT!

So, it's no new news to anybody that Jordan is an epic BYU fan, but me, I've never really had a  favorite college team. That is...until Jordan and I went on our first date back in 2007. (Wow, how time flies, looking back now I WISH we had a picture of that day!!) Ever since then, I've liked BYU but apparently (and according to Jordan) I wasn't a "true coug" yet. So after purchasing season tickets, a trip to the BYU bookstore to get 2 navy blue shirts, AND coloring war paint on my face.....
Guess who is a Cougar?
You guessed it...ME!!!

Our first game was the BYU vs Utah game, and quite frankly I don't feel like giving any comments about the game itself. lol The way I see it...Utah didn't win, BYU just lost. That's my story and I'm sticking with it! But being there in general was crazy fun! The atmosphere was awesome, the stadium was FULL of fans, white pom poms and hopefully anxious onlookers. It was really fun, I just love the time with my husband!
The BYU vs. Utah State game was a hoot as well! That was just last week. It was a close game, and so fun to be at! There was an Aggies fan right in front of us that was SO annoying! Both Jordan and I wanted to punch him in the face. So of course after the last touch down with 11 seconds to go and the score being 27-24 BYU, we rubbed it in his face..just a little... lol I've never taken bleachers so fast before in my life, running down them practically to storm the field! lol Jordan and I was one of the first ones from our side to go, and I'll tell you what..SO MUCH FUN! Seeing a cop chase after Jordan was hilarious! Being on the field was awesome, we have so much fun together!

So far, our season tickets have been quite amazing! Plenty more games, and fan-like experiences to come! Rise and shout :]
