That would be HALLOWEEN!
Keagan got to celebrate his first holiday in 3 different costumes. There is a chance that Mommy may have went over board. Just a little. But no, Keagan was Pumpkin, Giraffe, and Pac-Man Ghost. What a busy little bee! We loved Halloween and was glad we could go to the Jones Family Halloween Party to celebrate :] It's always a good time! Picture Time!...

Baby's First Road Trip
On October 26, Jordan and I packed up our little monkey and went road tripping to St. George for the weekend! We were planning on staying with Drake and Shakari at their house and was going to enjoy our weekend as a family. I was a little nervous about how this long drive would work out with our little mister, but can I just tell you, he did so good! From Orem, we stopped in Nephi to feed him, then he slept until Parawon, then slept until St. George! He only woke up to eat, then went right back to sleep. I was so proud of him! We went to dinner that night at Chilis. Then the next day, Jordan went playing golf in the morning, and then we went shopping for Jordan a new coat, but not until after we stopped and got me some Orange Peel :]. After, my parents finally made it down, and it was about time for us to eat dinner and head on over to Thriller! I was so excited! This was Jordans first time at Tuachahn and I was so stoked to take him there! It brought back a lot of good and fun memories. We only went with the siblings, mom and dad stayed home and watched the baby. We had a great time! The next day, we went to church then headed home. Keagan slept until Beaver, then until Nephi. What a good boy!! We had a great and relaxing weekend. Hope we can do it again sometime soon!

Mason Family Pictures
During the end of September, we got our family pictures taken on my side. We took them in Richfield, and I just thought I would share a few. I love them! I guess you could call a few of these Keagan's 2 month old pictures :] They turned out great, thanks Chelsie!
Morning Ritual
Keagan has a morning ritual. Every single morning, never fails. See, when he was just born, he would whack himself in the face and wake himself up. He had no control over his hands at all. So we had a swaddler that someone gave us (and whoever that someone is..I owe you BIG TIME!!!) so we used it wrap him up tight so his hands couldn't get out. Well, from the first time we took him out of it on, he has done the cutest little stretch thing. It's hard to explain, so I got a few pictures of it, but even the pictures don't do it justice. In the morning, you rip open that swaddle and he puts his fists up to head, arches his back, puckers up those lips and Sttrreeeeeeeeches! Seriously the cutest thing! And like I said, he does it every morning, never fails. In fact, just a few days ago he got out of his swaddle during the night so both of his arms were out. Well I still had to rip the velcro to get him out and as soon as he heard that rip, he starts to stretch like he had been in it all night! Made me laugh so hard! So maybe it's just habit now. I'm ok with that, I love it!!
That face!! hahaha |
I love the mornings! Good to see you Mom! Can't get enough of that!! |

Keagan's Baby Blessing
On Sunday, September 2nd, 2012, Keagan was blessed by his dad in our home ward, the Cherry Hill 9th Ward in Orem. It was such a special day! Seeing my baby in white and listening to the great blessing his dad gave was a memory I'll never forget. He looked like such a little angel. So of course I couldn't help but get up and bare my testimony, and of course I couldn't help but bawl my eyes out. I must have seemed like a blubbering mess up there, but I was overwhelmed with gratitude. I am so blessed! It still just blows me away that God would trust me to be the mother of such an angel. I think about that everyday, and that pushes me to be the best mom I can be. Overall, I loved our special day with my family. It was great to come together and celebrate Keagan's arrival. We Love Him more than words can describe! And he is ours forever :]
